1. कान टैग देखेंLook for the ear tagसरकारी टैग पर 12 अंकों का नंबर होता है जो पोर्टल के रिकॉर्ड से जुड़ा है। टैग न हो तो सावधान रहें।The govt tag carries a 12-digit number linked to the portal record. Be careful if there is no tag.¹

औरंगाबाद (महाराष्ट्र) में ज़िलाधिकारी ने 1 जून से बिना कान टैग गाय-भैंस की ख़रीद-बिक्री पर रोक लगाई और पंचायतों व नगर निकायों को टैगिंग की ज़िम्मेदारी दी।¹ अंडमान-निकोबार में 31 मार्च 2026 तक 100% टैगिंग का लक्ष्य था; 1 अप्रैल से बिना वैध टैग टीका, इलाज और स्वास्थ्य प्रमाणपत्र नहीं मिलते, और परिवहन प्रमाणपत्र टैग जाँच के बाद ही बनता है।³ पुष्कर मेले में 2025 से पशुपालकों को प्लॉट ऑनलाइन मिलते हैं और उन्हें QR कोड दिया जाता है, जिसे स्कैन करने पर उनकी जानकारी दिखती है।⁴In Aurangabad (Maharashtra), the collector banned trade in untagged cattle from 1 June and gave panchayats and civic bodies the job of tagging.¹ Andaman and Nicobar aimed for 100% tagging by 31 March 2026; from 1 April, untagged animals get no vaccination, treatment or health certificates, and transport certificates are issued only after a tag check.³ At the Pushkar fair, since 2025, herders get plots online and a QR code that shows their details when scanned.⁴
